Verizon found yet another way to make money off of you. Basically, Total Mobile Protection is TEC + tech support, which is free already, though I guess it may be faster? I never found their tech support to be that technically inclined to begin with. Even though they include Verizon Mobile Security in the description, it is free to anyone anyway , not that I would use it...

Yeah, a Verizon sales person got a friend of mine to sign up for this total mobile waste of money. I told her to get her old insurance back.

I was offered that service and I walked out laughing. I'm usually explaining to the representative what's wrong rather than the other way around. McAfee security is supposed to be a selling point? I wouldn't count on that to protect my phone just as I won't use it on my PC. I have TEC at the moment and I'm considering cancelling that too. Such a shame people fall for this type of stuff because they're not in the know.

But the point is, Verizon Mobile Security is FREE TO ANYONE. Just ridiculous that they would count that as a perk.

I'm actually a tech coach with verizon... tech SUPPORT is free for everyone that's where you get shifty "yeah just do this okay bye" as a tech coach we actually want to work through the problem with you and will be there every step of the way to ensure your phone is working properly by the end of the call.
