Verizon unlock policy

If I buy a CDMA/GSM "World Phone" from Verizon, will they provide an unlock code so I may use a local SIM when traveling abroad?

Yes. Just call them up and tell them you are planning a trip overseas and you need the unlock code to use your phone. I did this 2 years ago with my Blackberry Storm and it was no problem getting it.

No, You should get no matter how long you have been with them.
