Verizon update August 14 2018

Just updated G6 to the latest update, when the phone restarted it hung at the Verizon boot screen. Left it on overnight and it was still on the Verizon screen. So I did a restart and finally it came back to life.

As far as I can tell the update installed, the camera now has a low light function along with security updates.

Had me worried when updating thought the phone was bricked.

Whew! I know that must have been nerve wracking! How big was the file size for the update? I'm also curious as to how the low light function works for you.

I'm hoping we'll get this update on Sprint as well.

Low light is much improved, but photos are readily identifiable as having gone through LG's photo processing. The built-in QR reader hasn't worked yet for me. Camera UI is also updated. Other than that, business as usual.

Has anyone noticed the font size of the dialer now being much larger? I am not sure if there is a separate setting for that or not...but it sucks being so large now.

Was that a result of the last verizon update

Just received the Sprint version of this update, and I don't see any difference in the font size on the dialer.
