Verizon with straight talk AT&T sim no lte

Just got this phone like it says . I can't get lte to work i swaped my sim from s6 had lte full time. Put sim in s7 can't get lte except in a diffrent town. Any ideas

Welcome to Android Central! It might be due to lack of band 17 support. AT&T's LTE bands are 2, 4, 5, and 17, but according to this article, band 17 is AT&T's backbone, while 2, 4, and 5 are used primarily where band 17 doesn't exist. Your phone supports bands 2, 4, and 5, but not 17: Samsung Galaxy S7, 32GB, (Verizon), Black Onyx. Where are you trying to use the phone?

I've never seen anything but band 17 on my AT&T phone, so maybe they use 2, 4 and 5 on Alaska's North Slope, or under water in the swamps of Louisiana. (And I've been in places where LTE barely exists - sometimes not even long enough to download a 1k text file. But whatever is there is still band 17.)
