Verizon's recent update for the Tab 10.1

It was supposed to enable Mac OS compatibility for transferring files. Have any of you found this to be the case? I can't get my Mac to recognize the Tab, even with USB debugging on.

I came across this last nite...looks like verizon did manage to add andriod file transfer support for the LTE but you have to install android file transfer.

Just google android file transfer and download.

It worked for me on Lion.

Sooo....how did you get it to work with the program? I have the Tab 10.1 connected and Android FIle Transfer open but nothing is happening.

well when I plug in the usb from the mac to tab...the android file transfer program automatically opens up with folders. I didn't have to do anything else.

when you plug it in and its connected the usb icon should show in lower right status bar.

Hmm, I'm doing exactly that. The usb icon is in the bottom right corner and the app isnt automatically opening. Even when I open it nothing happens. Does your Tab say MDP connected when you plug it in? (Or whatever the acronym is)

MTP connected on mine. And its a verizon LTE 32gb SCH-i905.

Where is the fix for WIFI only, Android File Transfer does not see my Wifi only tab.

I don't understand why this isn't working. I have the program installed and MTP Connected is working. Are there any Samsung drivers I have to install??
