I've attached a few photos of the problem. It might just be a deal with the LCD panel being moved around, but I've really noticed this problem since day one when viewing screens that are just a full color. Mostly, when I was looking at the white menus for handcent. The vertical lines are very vague, but after I pulled put a google image of "blue" they looked slightly more pronounced.

First off, I'm sorry that the photos were resized. At full size, you can clearly see what I'm talking about. I hope it shows on these. Either way, if you can see what I'm talking about, can someone take a shot at telling me what's going on here? Is this normal?

capacitive touch screen maybe?

I can see that on mine with the display off as well. If you look at it at the right angle it appears to just be the way that the screen is made. Nothing to worry about IMO.

HTC EVO lines on screen

I have the lines also. Just had a replacement phone sent to me because of a defect in the shiny part of the case on lower right corner and now this phone has lines only seen with white background. This replacement phone also shows a more uniform lighting along the bottom buttons and is also more vivid than the first phone all the way through the brightness scale.

Is this something that will go away or will it always be like this?
