Very frustrated - Google Voice-To-Text problems with accuracy and time-outs

I have had inconsistent problems with dictating Text messages via Textra since my P6P. Sometimes it works as advertised, but mostly not. It loves to capitalize random words, but not proper nouns like people's names. Sometimes it punctuates with a period, sometimes it spells out "period". Lately, it likes to suddenly Time Out and stop working mid sentence. It's getting very frustrating to even use. Any tips? Is it a problem with Google Voice and Textra?

Yeah I've noticed a decline in accuracy with punctuations so I opted to turn that off in Google keyboard settings. I find it's easier and more accurate just to say the punctuations myself.

Edit - I don't use Textra, just notice this in general across the board.

I've been using Textra for years and the majority of the time I use voice to text although I always need to " proofread " what's been typed so to speak.

I speak in clear and concise English to be sure if types exactly what I want, although it seems to input words that I'd often use instead which ummm aren't always " g rated " haaaaaa!?!? It's still convenient for the most part but yeah I'm extra careful when sending

"I find it's easier and more accurate just to say the punctuation myself." That's what I do, but sometimes it spells the punctuation out instead of just using it.

I always speak clearly and always have good luck with my voice with Voice devices like our TV remotes (our remote NEVER understands my wife's high pitched voice LOL!). It never times out and suddenly quits responding mid sentence, capitalizing the wrong words, or spells out names of punctuation marks?

GBoard/Assistant voice typing usually gets the punctuation correct for me without saying "period" or "comma" but I have noticed a lot of capitalization errors lately.

Not using Gboard, using Swiftkey keyboard. Seems like it wouldn't matter because isn't there just one Speech Recognition app being used no matter what keyboard app I use?
