I am SO happy with my new service! I get unlimited data with no surcharges, taxes... And it is F A S T!

That's great if you own a Samsung or apple phone. It would be compelling if they had a more open policy for other Android models. After all it's just LTE.

Also Pixel 3 and 4 lines are eligible for byod. Granted, it still is a limited list but the service is great. Especially if you go use the by the gig plan and don't require a lot of dats.

If you don't have Spectrum internet, there is a $20 surcharge for Spectrum mobile. That makes it uneconomical. Spectrum mobile is standalone. Not in any bundles.

Mobile is the best thing about Spectrum, but I'd drop everything Spectrum in a heartbeat if I had any good options.

Spectrum cable is enormously expensive - my Spectrum bill went up about 40% since the Time Warner merger.

Per the wireless, it is one flat fee for unlimited data? What about 5G? Can one completely disable voicemail?

I agree, Spectrum internet is mostly a huge rip-off. Their rates are ridiculous, service is out WAY too often, and they're way below advertised speeds. The only good thing is no data caps.... and we use a lot of data. That might be part of the reason they feel they can charge more.... that and no competition in a lot of area's (including ours). I would never give them our mobile service unless they gave us a big price break on internet.

It's mostly the TV which drives up mine immensely. The bill in 2017 was c. $144, now it's 240 - no movie channels. I forget when I upgraded the internet speed and added voice, either '16or '17. But those don't make a $100 difference. Cable-internet-phone.

Yes. Flat fee for unlimited and VM can be disabled. Can easily use 3rd party VM like Google Voice. 5G also available at no extra cost if you're in a VZ 5g area.

I like Spectrum mobile with the by the gig plan. Nothing else really compares to that if you're a light user. With unlimited, there are many other comparable options available. Keep in mind that Spectrum will charge $20 per line should you move to another ISP.

It might behoove me to dump Boost and go to Spectrum. Is it very hard to migrate an old number over to Spectrum? I never migrated my old number to Boost. For various reasons, I kept the old number while I figured out if I like Boost or not. The other reason being that Boost wasn't very helpful in getting my old number migrated.

It's not hard to port your old number to Spectrum. It can be done online if you have the sim mailed to you and have a compatible unlocked phone. Also can be done through phone support. Stay away from the stores as the support knowledge there is very inconsistent. I'm assuming your old number is still active with a carrier.
