very new to the droid, quick pointers please.

Calender, Shortcut will always show the 15th, but Im looking for something like the Iphone calender. (where it shows the date and day of the week)

Also sorry for the very very very rookie question.

Were is the Widget Screen?? How do I set my apps there???
My home screen is full of apps, is there any way of setting folders on my home screen or anything??

figured it out, thanks a bunch. now looking for little programs to get that might help more.
also hows the battery life?? my brother has an HTC and he said his battery life is horrible, he got an app called app killer to help save battery life.

Avoid app killers and task managers. The battery life on the myTouch 4G is awesome.

Don't download them. App management on the newer versions of Android makes them useless. All they'll do is mess up your phone.
