Very urgent please!!!

We had a tornado last night and seems AT&T cell service is down, has been for hours. I need to try and reach some family that was in a hard hit area. I can't find on this phone where I can search for Network Operators to see if there is some other Network I can connect with.

Where do I do this? I can find "network operators, select a network operator" but when I go there, all I see is "default setup, select the default setup" and it is grey.

You can't change it unless you use a different Sim card

are you kidding? you can't find another service and roam? i could do that with T-Mobile. this is the 3rd time in about 8 months that AT&T has gone down because of storms...

How about VOIP? If you can get someplace with WiFi you can use GrooveIP and Google Voice.
