So i noticed my Note 10+ has very weak signal in basement. Compared to my P30 Pro using the same SIM card. My Note 10+ signal is around 1 bar. And on my P30 Pro it would be almost full bar. Had the same issue on my S10+. Is this a Samsung Antenna issue or am i missing something?

Are you checking the -dBm signal or just going by bars? Going by bars is bad since each phone calculates differently.

erm.usually with my P30 Pro i can watch youtube without buffering but with the Note 10+ i cant even open my banking app...

I would still get a signal app regardless. Bars = bad judgement of anything. A signal app not only tells the signal strength but also the band you are on. It is possible the Note is choosing a weaker band.

Owh... Im not the technical kind of person but i will give it a check.

Okay. Will the band change? And what does - 82 mean? Haha.

The lower you are (-70, 60 ,etc.) the better. You won't really get much better than 75 usually -- really rare. So having -82 means great signal. Something like -128 would be almost no signal if no signal.

Bands change. Such as in the states when I am on Verizon if I go into a building chances are I drop to band 13 since it is a lower frequency and can penetrate better. Just depends on the scenario.

Owh okay i get it. The lower the - the better it is. I will have to go to the basement to see which band it uses and how much dBm i get. Will update soon.
