About 2 weeks ago my phone sometimes displayed everything with a yellow-ish color tone. It didn't bother me because that didn't happen that often and I was still able to read everything without any problems. After a few days it became worse and one morning when I woke up and unplugged my phone from the charging cable, everything was dark red and I was barely able to read anything. After a phone restart everything was normal again. The next morning the screen was red again (sometimes other colors too, like blue, green, pink but most of the time red/pink) which made me think that the problem was somehow related to the charger or usb cable because my screen got red everytime I put the usb cable on. Now the problem became worse again: Everything is dark red until I reboot, after the reboot everything is normal until I lock the phone. After I unlock it again everything is dark red until the next restart, the it becomes normal and again dark red after lock/unlock... putting on the usb cable doesnt change anything now.
The last time I dropped my phone was about 5 months ago so it's probably not my fault this is happening I guess... howevery my warranty expired 2 months ago so I can't get a new phone. I don't want to buy a new one and I just don't know how to fix this problem. I can't find anything relateable on the internet too.
Things i've tried:
-playing around with every display-related android settings
-tried different usb-cable/adapter
-factory reset
-installing a custom rom
I really hope anybody here can help me and give me an idea on of to fix this problem.
