Vey weak wifi reception

Hi, I recently bought a Galaxy22 Plus 256gig . It is an unlocked Canadian model. The wifi reception seems very weak compared to my old S 9 plus. I have a big yard, with a wifi 6 mesh system and can get pretty good coverage even on my older tablet and phones, but the 22 Plus falls off way short of the others. Very disappointing. I have tried to reset the wifi restart, turn off Bluetooth but nothing helps. Any ideas? Thanks.

Are you loosing connection or just going by the bars shown? Have you used any WiFi signal detectors?

The connection is dropping out completely. It says it will reconnect when the signal returns..
