Vibrate not working for texts, but works for calls

I'm not sure what's going on but I have read everywhere and haven't found anybody with the same problem as me. Most of the issues seem to be vibrating not working in general, but my phone will vibrate, it just won't for text messages anymore.

The software is up to date.

Vibrate when messages are received is checked.
Ringer volume is set to vibrate.

I'm not sure what else is going on.

That seems odd, I had the opposite issue. I would get the vibrate function on messages but no audio. Ended have to do a hard reset to fix the issue.

What messaging app do you use?

Haha I'm no pro at this smart phone stuff, just got it a few weeks ago. How do I figure that out? I just use whatever came with the phone..

I would call Verizon, they should be able to walk you through the setting and check everything out.

Vibrate no longer works

My Vibrate no longer works...period. I completely went through all of the settings, restarted it and even removed the battery...nothing! I use vibrate more than the audio settings.

Any help would be appreciated.



BTW...I realize that this is an old post. It's still relevant.
