Vibrate when receiving texts

I thought I had posted this in the forum, but after I did, I didn't see it anywhere... if any of the moderators see my previous post anywhere, feel free to delete it, and sorry for the repeat!

Hello - my Rezound does not vibrate when I receive texts. I usually keep my phone on vibrate, because I work in a place where I can't have my phone make a lot of noise, so I prefer to have vibrating alerts/calls. Yesterday, I changed my settings (Menu -> Settings -> Notifications -> Vibrate) so that it would vibrate when I got a text message, and it worked fine. However, today it no longer works. I've purposely sent some texts to my phone, but my phone stays silent each time.

I tried unchecking/re-checking the Vibrate setting and I restarted my phone, both to no avail. If anyone has any suggestions to fix this problem it'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hmmm... so you put your phone in Vibrate mode (volume all the way down below silent), and it still doesn't vibrate, usually anything that would make an audible noise vibrates in that mode... The other two settings you checked were I would go.

Does your phone vibrate properly for other notifications (call ring, email, etc)?
Are you stock, or using a customer SMS app?
Using any "Volume Control" type apps?

Yup - I made the volume go all the way down past silent to "Vibrate." My phone properly vibrate when I receive a phone call, and I don't want it vibrating for any other notification except Text message. I'm using just the normal stock (I recently installed that OTA update a few weeks ago), and otherwise I have no other volume control apps.

Hmmm.... sounds like a factory default might be in order then.

Have you tried LightFlow?
Disable vibrate in the SMS App itself then let LightFlow control it & see if that works.
