Vibrates when I pick it up

My samsung galaxy vibrates when I pick it up from my desk. It didnt use to do this. I did fiddle with some setting before to try to get better battery life. Please let me know why this is happening.

Mine does it when I have a missed call or text msg. You can turn it off in settings.

Double, you are asking for help without giving any information about what you did. The obvious answer is to undo whatever settings you fiddled with and see if the phone is still vibrating. Then maybe do one fiddle at a time and test. Also this forum and XDA and Google are your friends. There is a TON of information. Try reading and learning BEFORE you fiddle Good luck my friend.

I'd start by looking at the motion settings, in setup.

It is list under motion--->smart alert under system settings if you want to turn it off
