I flashed back to the stock rom, and now the vibration isn't working. I checked all the settings, and they all have vibration on. Any help? Also when I try to flash blackhole with the stupidfast kernel, it wipes my apps from my phone, as well as my contacts and such, and then I restore it and they come back. Any ideas?

Vibration problems typically happen when you mix DI01 stuff with DJ05.

ROMs will wipe your apps.

What do I do to fix the vibration? And there is no way for it not to wipe apps? I have to reinstall them every time?

You need to make sure the kernel matches the build. If you switched to DJ05, you need a kernel for DJ05. If you mix DJ05 with a DI01 kernel, you will lose haptic.

Ok so how do I know which ROMs are for dj05? I was running one of geekniks earlier versions and now I have jt's 11/16 uv - but I really miss the bln! Which kernels work with dj05 and which have the bln notifications?

Back Light Notifications (ie BLN). Basically, if your phone is sitting on the table and you receive an email, text, etc... your cap lights come on letting you know even though the main display is still off... Pretty nifty feature that some of the custom ROMs are packing.

I had the same problem as the OP. No haptic now. It says DI01 in baseband version.

I switched from Zinc to blackhole and back.

How do I fix this?

The only thing that solved this for me was to manually flash a stock kernel file I found on xda. Factory resets, cw backups, flashing stock images, none of that worked after trying stupid fast with dj05.
