Vibration Issues on Watch

Hey guys!

I bought the Urbane and I love it. It's paired to my S6 Edge and it works well. The only problem I have is text messages will not cause the watch to light up or vibrate. I checked settings and can't find anything that would be causing this. My email will and so will other notifications just not texts. Any idea how to fix this?

Just out of curiosity, what app are you using on your phone for texts?

I use both EvolveSMS and WhatsApp and both work as expected on the Urbane.

However I have made things even better by installing Coffee ( https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...ps/details?id=com.awear.coffee&token=sgAe8zdC ) on my watch. Try it; you'll like it.

Make sure you did not block the messaging app my mistake in the Android Wear app.

I had an issue where my stock email would not notify intermittently and everything else would. I called Google (no help - told me to call Samsung or LG). I did a factory reset and that has worked so far.

So update for anyone else that may be wondering. I called LG and they said since I factory reset it twice and my settings were all correct that it must be a defective unit and to return where I bought it from since I was in the return period.
