Vibration pattern on text messages

Is there a way to change the vibration pattern on text messages? I have the pattern changed successfully for calls, but I cannot change it on messages. It's still just one big long vibration...Not great.



Any thoughts?

I'm having the same problem! I created my own vibrate pattern and I'd like to use it. Under Device vibrate it says it's the one I've chosen but when I put my phone on vibrate it's still the "Basic Call" Vibrate :/ I'd love to know how to fix it but so far I can't figure it out

I have the Samsung Galaxy Ace II x
