video and music?

So I just got my 5s yesterday. And I was wondering is there a way to record video and have background music? I've tried playing a song and recording but it automatically stops playing my song. Any tips or know hows?

The phone will not play music and record video at the same time.

If the desire is to have the music in your video, either play it with another device while recording, or mux it in with the video feed after recording the video.
