My husband just tried to video call me while we were on a phone call.

On his end a s22 it said I wasn't able to receive video calls at this time. Why is that? When I had my s22 ultra it wasn't a problem. Wasn't even a problem on my notes.
 
Are you using a Fold 4 from a carrier or an unlocked device from Samsung? Was this the same with your S22 Ultra? What carrier do you use? Have you changed carrier since you got the Fold 4? What phone does your husband have? Are you able to video call him?
 
That didn't work. I still don't have the option to switch to video during a call and he still gets the same message. Is this not an option on folds?

I used to switch to video on calls all the time on the s22ultra and note 20

On the s22ultra and notes duo had nothing to do with switching to video calling. Had nothing to do meeting.

I just made phone call (regular to my son N20) and able to switch from regular call to video without any issue. Test it both 5G and WIFI. No issue.
 
The good news is that everyone can use Duo for video calls; using the Verizon video call only works from Verizon locked to Verizon locked.
Once you get used to using Duo, it is great.
