I have a lot of tv shows and movies I have taken off of DVD and I like to use an Android Box as a media player to play my video files on my tv.

My problem is that if I use an ssd to play my video files no matter what format the ssd is in it will play the video files for 5 to 7 days with no problems at all but then all of a sudden it will kick me out of VLC and back to the Homepage of my Android Box,I can reset the Android Box and wipe ssd and it will act up right away.

I find that once it starts to kick out of VLC it will only play the video file for 5 to 7 minutes if that long and then it kicks me out.

If I use a Seagate 1TB Barracuda Pro mechanical hard drive the video files play fine with no problems what so ever,I have been using a 1TB mechanical hard drive for 9 years and never any problems and it also doesn't matter what brand they are either.

I have tried formatting the ssd to NTFS exfat and that didn't help either,I use NTFS with my Seagate hard drive and it always works just fine.

I first tried a Crucial P3 1TB ssd and it doesn't have a cache and then I tried a Sabrent Rocket 4 1TB and it has a cache and that didn't help either.

Can someone please tell me what is going on and why I can't get an ssd to work correctly and is the problem VLC or something to do with the Android Box.

I'm using an HK1 RBOX with Android 10 and VLC 3.2.12,I have tried newer version of VLC but nothing seems to help.
