Is there a way to change the format that videos are filmed in from 3gp to something that will work with Windows Movie Maker (for editing). Currently, I have to covert every video I want to edit to WMV. I am open to any other suggestions also.

Go to the cam app. Select Menu>Settings and change the Encoding type to whatever you like.

Oh, and make sure you have video selected and not photo.

I have seen that screen. Which encoding type would you recommend for the highest quality video that will work with Windows movie maker? My choices are H.263 H.264 or MPEG4. I found a free program called Freemake Video Converter that works well, but I would like to remove that step in the process. Thanks for your input.

Thanks for the tip on the video settings. I checked my wife's Incredible's settings and it's set to MPEG4 but the file extension still comes out as 3GPP. I can play it fine in something like VLC but if she wants to post it to something like Facebook I don't think that file format will work right?

Facebook is compatible with 3GPP, as stated on their Help page here. That video format should not be a problem unless the size of the video exceeds the limit on the upload page.
