What can get messed up? All you are doing is adding a shortcut to a built in menu. That's much better than running an external app.

I was referring to that guy in the video, when he was going through his menu, he says "watch you don't mess anything up in here" of course no app needed! Just make sure you don't upgrade to 2.2.2 via OTA update VM! (when released).
