Video I receieved in a text plays as a slideshow

I am a verizon customer and just got my first smartphone, a Droid Razor 4GLTE 32G. I received a text from an Iphone but it won't play. It Does a slideshow instead. It saved as a slideshow also. How do I receive the video as it's supposed to be? Also, can anyone tell me how to save a picture and the words in a text to the same place?

Are you sure it's a video and not just pictures, because pictures some in as a slideshow on MMS???

If an iPhone sends multiple pictures in one message, it shows as a slideshow to us. It's very annoying because the images show up really small and you must download all of them to your phone just to be able to see what they say. (This could just be the quality of images my friend sends me when this happens)

I'm trying to understand the second part of your post. Are you trying to save a picture that you received in your inbox that has text underneath it that the person sending typed? If so, you cannot save their text along with the picture it came with. If you're really wanting to save the text, you can "lock" the message by long pressing on the blue part around the picture and click lock. (You can unlock it at anytime). You can also take a screen shot of the message that well, takes a picture of your screen. The "lock" function will be the easiest and least time consuming.
