Video playback is dim

I noticed that during playback, the video player tends to be on the dim side on my phone. When you go into the video player, the thumbnails are bright and when the video ends, they brighten up again. During playback though, they are on the dim side.

Has anyone else noticed this? I've checked around the phone and online and have not found a solution. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Open video player. Settings. Video brightness. Uncheck auto. Adjust as necessary

Same here.....recording in 1080p and 720p is jerky and choppy too. Another Samsung POS!
It took those morons over 5 months to update the nexus....another POS.

Then do the same thing for the internet browser as it has it's own brightness settings also. Very weird.

Is it just me or does everyone else also need to start playing a video before you can access video playback settings?
