video recorder

Hi. I recently bought an alcatel one touch x pop smartphone with mediatek mt-6577 cpu, running jellybean 4.1.1 . The video recording volume is set to low, when I playback the videos; I can hardly hear anything, though the media volume is set at max. My question is; how could I increase the video recording volume? I installed the mtk engineering app, but it's too complicated to use, maybe someone can help me with it, or with another trick or solution. I have to mention that the audio recorder works fine, so it's just the video recorder that is not set properly by default. Please help. Thanks.
