Video recording problems

Until just recently, I've been able to record videos just fine. But now I open the camera, slide the toggle to video, and when I click the record button, the phone pauses for a second, then the record button turns red again and nothing happens. The only thing I've changed was the video resolution, but I've since set it back and still can't record. Any ideas?
