Video Rotation

When I do a video sideways (with the phone vertical), it plays back on my phone correctly. When I download and play it on my laptop, the video plays sideways. Very annoying. I have video stabilization turned on. Rather than having to run this through a video editor, is there some setting I can use to make sure the recorder always records with the top up? Make sense?

My tip is always video with the phone sideways, once it's started the aspect ratio and orientation is locked like that and changing to vertical won't change the orientation, as you have found it it looks horrible, even cropping and rotating in a video editor won't do much for it.
