Video Upload to Instagram Story

I have posted regarding this before but couldn't find a fix. I have tried just about everything and no matter what I do, when I post a video to my IG story it is blurry or choppy. I understand it's an Android thing because my Wife's iPhones have never had this issue, but is there any workaround or app that I can covert the videos quickly and easily?

I love the camera and it takes great videos but the upload quality to IG story is awful. I use it often for a business I am starting so I need clean videos.

Few notes; this only happens on stories, not on my actual feed. I have tried posting from the phone camera and also the "Instagram Mode" camera and same results. Any help would be appreciated!

Have you tried switching to another account (like your wife's) and see if the same problem persists? I've seen no issues with mine (but I've only tried posting them using the IG camera directly, not picking a video from the Gallery).

Things I'd check is to make sure that Data Saver isn't turned on in your account settings.

Yes I have tried logging into her account on my phone and have the same issue.

So you get a crisp video when you use the IG camera? That's so odd, I picked up two S10s and one S10E for the family and all three have the same problem.

I have Data Saver turned off.

Is that a boomerang or an actual video? Do you still get crisp videos if there is more movement involved?

All my followers see huge differences in my ig story video quality..everybody comments how clear my videos are now... IPhone ppl... I use Instagram upload from the camera

You use the Instagram app to take the video or the phones camera app?

Normal video, no filters or boomerang or anything. But again, taken from the IG app directly (no Gallery export/selection). Haven't tried directly from an 'old' video.

The phone. Instagram app is horrible.. Huge difference even u use ig app and Samsung instgram mode

I have the same issues with the IG app itself as well, and do see a difference in quality on the phones camera but not when it's uploaded as a video to my story. I will have to give the "Instagram Mode" camera a shot.

I also noticed over the weekend that even crisp clear pictures that I post become extremely blurry if I add any GIF image. This did not happen with my Galaxy S7.

Ig mode makes a difference trust me

Right. I feel like I've tried everything and can not get a crisp video to post.
