Video Wallpaper Doesn't Work

I tried to do a video wallpaper on the home page. I selected it from the Gallery and cut it down to 15 seconds as directed. I let me install it on the lockscreen where it works fine but of course I don't want it there! Anyone know any trick to get it to work on the home screen? I even tried lower screen res but it made no diff. It only gives me the option to put it on the lockscreen.

Ideas?

AFAIK Samsung doesn't allow video wallpapers on the home screen.

I looked.it up online and it said you would have a choice of homescreen, lockscreen or both... at least in Pie.

All I know is on my Note 10+ I've never had the option to use video wallpaper on home screen. Only lock screen. That was both on Pie and 10.

I never even see my lock screen.
