Videos dont play on browser

[Android Central Question]

I use a samsung galaxy tab which uses android version 4.4.2 , when i browse websites and click on videos it says html video not found / unable to play video / sometimes doesnt even load etcetera etcetera . Some websites work fine though but majorly important ones show this problem . Google tells mr this mightbe because the android version is too old or backdated ,but i use another device called htc desire which has the same version ,4.4.2 . Now what might be the problem ? Is there any solution to it ?

No doubt your going have big issues with using a android version that old , have you tried a different browser by luck?

Welcome to Android Central! Which browser are you using on the Samsung tablet?

It's not a great idea to be using multiple devices with such old Android versions, since that could be a significant security risk.
