Yeah, SD cards suck...

Have you conected it to a computer to see if they're on there but not readable on the phone?

Welcome to Android Central! That's unfortunate. SD cards are inherently less reliable than internal storage, and besides that, video files can be pretty big, with more chance of data transfer error in the process of moving the file. As methodman89 mentioned, it's always much safer to Copy instead of Move, since Copy will preserve the original source file, while Move will usually delete the source file (even if the Move operation was unsuccessful).
