My Ultra focuses that fast pre update...
Same here, my S20+ (Exynos) now focuses properly and immediately. Before I had to manually select to focus otherwise the pics were blurry.
The plus had focus issues too? Wow did I just barely avoid a huge disaster then. I was going send back my ultra for a plus but I really wanted the telephoto zoom quality of the ultra. So glad I took the leap of faith and kept the ultra because hiking the Appalachian trail yesterday the telephoto lens on the ultra really came in handy!
where are the pics from that nature walk?
I still have my Ultra and don't think people who returned their ultra did anything wrong. It's not like they can't buy the phone again if whatever the reason for their return has been fixed. Yes they may lose the pre order gifts etc but it's not like Samsung is short of promotions. They have some kind of promotions thru out the year so people who returned can always buy the phone again if their concerns have been addressed.and come to think some people became impatient and quickly returned their Ultras. Glad I wasn't one of them. I got the update and my camera has been awesome.
I know that. But some people returned it because of the focusing issue coupled with the price of the phone. They felt a device that cost this much shouldn't have any issues and rightfully so. I'm not mad at them for returning it. Thats their right. Sometimes a little patience is good.I still have my Ultra and don't think people who returned their ultra did anything wrong. Most return period is 15 days, for example those who ordered from samsung.com and received their phone on March 3rd had their 15 day return period expire before the update came out and T-Mobile/AT&T folks still are waiting. So again everyone's tolerance levels are different and I can understand if someone returned because of whatever issue they had and they didn't see an update within their return period. They can always buy the same phone later if they want it.I know that. But some people returned it because of the focusing issue coupled with the price of the phone. I for one was going to return mine if a update hadn't come out before my 30 day return period.
