Visual voicemail app issues

I have an S21 ULTRA on T-mobile and very happy with it. But my visual voicemail app would simply not work. So I downloaded the metro by tmobil version of visual voicemail, and it's working just fine. How do you figure?

TMobile version voicemail always had issues I don't know if it because it ask to subscribe but definitely problematic
