Visual Voicemail

My phone is using the stock Samsung phone and voicemail app. My carrier is Mobilex. I added on visual voicemail (the kind where it should transcript the voice so you can just read it) to my plan there, but they do not have a dedicated voicemail app. The samsung voicemail app does not look like it does visual voicemail.

If any of you have the same situation where your carrier does not have a dedicated voicemail app, what do you use to get the text voicemail's?

Your phone does have visual voicemail, but it's carrier-activated. In other words, if your carrier (for whatever reason) doesn't tell your phone you have this feature active, it won't show you the option. If you do have it active, you'll find it either on the voicemail notification or by going to your Phone app, tapping the menu button (three dots on top right corner) and you'd see the Visual Voicemail 'app' there.
