I have a Tab 2 I bought just a couple years ago. I use it alot for school and recently some of the updates to the apps have pushed past the current OS (4.1.2 jelly bean) So I need to install 4.2 or higher.
The problem is that I cannot find anything for the sgh-i497
There are a TON of other model rooting and install tutorials, but none of them work from my tablet.
I just want to upgrade to a higher OS, not hack the planet.
I am an average to above average linux/android user, but also visually impaired (one of the reasons for the 10.1)
PLEASE HELP!!
Any guidance would be VERY helpful
