Vivid mobile hotspot and voice talking simultaneously?

Hi All,
It seems as if my vivid does not allow voice calls simultaneously with my laptop utilizing my vivid's mobile hotspot. Can mobile hotspot be running and voice calls be made at the same time? My carrier is AT&T.

I've never had the need to consider this. But it sounds like you have actually experienced the situation...is that what your saying, you tried it and it didn't work? I don't see why it wouldn't??

Yes, it does not work and I was wondering if I am missing something. I need someone to say definitively yes or no on simultaneous hotspot/voice.

I'm able to keep my WiFi hotspot on with 3 devices connected and can still receive and make calls.
