vivo have begun rolling out the May 2025 security patch to their global, (FunTouch), models of the X Fold3 Pro. This update also has a number of bug fixes and optimizations for Android 15 as detailed in the screenshot.

This is the vivo X Fold3's 9th Android 15 update in 9 months.

I've read all the threads, commented on a few. The cost difference is the only reason to choose CN in USA. I got the Global on T-Mobile 3 weeks ago and have had zero problems. They haven't added a Dev Options to force it to 5G yet - but I've always had at least 3 to 10 download speeds on speed. As an additional note, I think the Global and CN have same bands so it's not about signal, it's about speed.

Dev Options, (Developer Options), can be found as with most Android phones, by going to...

Settings > About phone > Software information > Build number (tap this 5-7 times until Developer options is shown)

Developer Options should then appear in... Settings > System management, at the bottom.

However, Developer Options has no setting to change the bands that this Global/China model has embedded and which differ from the USA network bands. Some U.S. users have reported being able to access 5G with certain US carriers.
