Anyone else have issues with their connections dropping and resetting itself all the time? Really annoying when you're trying to stream music or videos. Anyone have a fix?

I'm having issues with my connection dropping from 3G to 1X really often in areas where it shouldn't.. never had that issue with my Optimus V.

The problem I'm having, which was the same that I had with the Optimus V and why I decided to upgrade to the slider, is my battery gets sucked dry in a matter of hours -- even on standby. If I use it I am lucky to get 2 hours out of a full charge. If it is just on standby, I'll be lucky to get 4 hours out of a full charge. This just sucks. I don't keep it on the charger other than to charge it. It also charges extremely slow. It will sometimes take the better part of a day just to get it to 100% charge. This really sucks.

Both me and a friend are having the dropped 3G problem with our Sliders. Could be a problem with the towers which is probably the case and sucks a warehouse of wiener.

I have a feeling the Slider has a cheap radio. After all, it already shares a processor with the Optimus V, just OC'd to 800 MHz. Probably Virgin and LG cutting costs. Luckily I upgraded.

Hi guys. Massive problems with my optimus lg slider. Bought one on a Friday and a top-up card to go with it. Charged up the battery and activated it the same day, but it wouldn't receive or send calls. Plus after an hour after I took it off the charger the battery emptied all its power and got so hot I could barely hold it in my hand to take out the battery to cool. Called Virginmobile. They said the battery overheating was normal for the first few weeks and to wait a few days for it to be "fully" activated so I could make calls. Called back 2 days later with the same problem. Wouldn't make or receive calls. Spent a half hour on the phone while they had me entering MSID numbers and pulling the battery out and so on over and over again. Finally they said they'd create a ticket and get back to me in 2-4 days.

No refund on the top-up card. No explanation of what the problem could be.

Very very unprofessional company.

I wouldn't recommend them. What a headache.
