Voice actions for xoom

I was playing around with Google voice actions tonight and I was very impressed by its accuracy.

Does anyone know if there is a way to activate the voice commands from inside of an app or the browser? For example, I can load an email through voice commands on the home screen, and even fill out the address, subject, and maybe the first line of the email. After that, once I'm inside the Gmail application, is it possible to activate voice and finish my email that way?

I know on android phones some keyboards have a voice command key (like swype) so that once ur in a text entry field you can use voice command to fill it out. I think swiftkey is making a honeycomb keyboard, and it should be out soon, hopefully they have it on there.
