Voice Assistant Took over Home Button>... Anyone?

7 edge working fine... Powered on this AM and all of a sudden my home button does not function - Click it and nothing... will not take back to home. When you hit it multiple times it turns on and off Voice Assistant .... Anyone seen this? I installed a few Gear S apps last evening so thought this may be an issue. I uninstalled all and started in safe mode and still have crazy voice assistant that has taken over my home button.

Sounds like S Voice. There should be a setting to turn off the activate with the home key button.

S-Voice is not the same thing as Voice Assistant.... 2 different things.

Same thing happened to my S7 after 3 days. Voice assistant took over everything couldn't click on any app would just tell me what app I was clicking on, home button stopped working just double pressing turned on and off voice assistant. I didn't install any new apps took back to store told them what was happening they just swapped out for new phone didn't even try to fix it
