Voice Dialing with Blueant Q2 and Captivate

I have the blueant q2 bluetooth with my captivate. I have been trying to find a reliable way to voice dial without having to add the voice dialing feature from AT&T onto my phone. Can anyone lend any advice?

I just bought the Motorola FINITI bluetooth, which tauted it's text-to-voice and voice-to-text capabilities. Turns out, those only work on Froyo-upgraded Captivates. You may have a similar problem. Also, some of the feature on my headset only work intermittently, so I have to frequently unpair and repair the phone/headset.
