Voice input for Nexus 7

Voice input on my Nexus 7 (first version) has stopped working - help please

Welcome to Android Central! Do you get error messages, or did it just stop responding? Are you talking about voice typing, or Ok Google?

Go to Settings>Language & Input, and make sure Google Voice Typing is checked. Also tap Voice Search, and make sure Hotword Detection is turned on.
