I don't if this has been mentioned anywhere else but is there any way to get rid of that annoying voice mail icon? I saw one way the got rid of it temporary but I want it permanently gone. Thank you!

Read or listen to your voicemail, go into settings and steel voicemail notifications to off.

Not turn off voicemail, turn off notifications for voicemail.
Settings - sound & notifications - app notifications.
