Voice Mail

I can't set my voice mail number as a speed dial. I changed my voice mail number by adding my password at the end like this - *86,password. When I called the number by pressing 1 on the keypad the password was not there. I deleted the speed dial and am trying to add it back on. I go to add speed dial, touch number one, find my voice mail number in the contact list, and touch it. When it goes back to the speed dial screen the number is not there. Anyone help?

Don't search for voice mail - scroll to it, then select it. It's a known bug with speed dial

just replicated this on my phone, and it worked ok without issue, though i am not sure if you can also add the password to the speed dial setup.

that said, i would actually recommend checking out google voice for your voicemail. after using it, i doubt youll want to use carrier voicemail ever again

Thanks for the help. I got it to work. Must be a bug because it doesn't work like it looked like it should. I did go into the contacts and did it through there with a long hold on the number. Thanks again.
