voice recognition spells proper names with common spelling, but I want to customize certain names.

My daughter's name is Mikaela. She is the only Mikaela I know and that's what I want to see when I speak her name in Messenger. Yet, the spelling "Michaela" comes up 80% of the time, and "McKayla" about 20%. And NEVER Mikaela.

I've seen and tried these suggestions
1. Put a phonetic name in her contact page
2. add her name to my personal dictionary.
3. Remove the wrong spelled name from suggestions.
None of these had any effect (and don't have anything to do with voice recognition, but I tried anyway).

Maybe this is a Google problem, since I spoke her name into Assistant and it came up the same-wrong way there, too. Messenger is where I really want it to recognize her name-spelling.

You using Samsung or google voice ?

I assume it's Google, because I'm using the Gboard keyboard. How could I tell if otherwise?
