Voice Recorder app by Moto?

One app that I love, Voice Recorder, came with my Droid Incredible (HTC). I've assumed that the app is available only on HTC phones, but maybe I'm wrong...

Do the Moto phones come with a Voice Recorder app?

Not that I know of. However, I dl the app Recordroid from the Market. It works (and even LOOKS) just like a hand-held tape recorder! Perfect!

I don't have a Voice Recorder app on either our Droid X or Droid 2.

There are a lot of Voice Recorder apps in the Market though.

I killed 2 birds with one stone. "Note Everything" comes with voice notes and is free in the Market.

I use “virtual recorder” by andro iX, its free and it also is one of the only recorders that continues to record while in the background and with the screen locked… so no one will know if you are recording. It has a 10 hour time limit to recordings, you can loop recordings so you can always use it in arguments when people say stupid or contradictory things It can convert files to mp3 and set them as ring tones. It also has a preamp and pitch adjustment.

Have to add to this thread that I did look up the Virtual Recorder. While doing so, I activated my Recordroid app to compare. Thought I'd shut it off, but later realized it was recording everything for the past 6 hours or so! Little icon in the Notification bar that I hadn't noticed. This was during lock screens and all. So, it has more capabilities than I thought!

Yeah, hard to believe Moto neglected to include a sound recorder app. But I found "Hi-Q MP3 Recorder", in the market (after trying all kinds of recorders)...very high-quality MP3 recording! Also very easy to use.
