I can't seem to find the voice recorder on the phone. I know it must be there somewhere. Thanks

Note Pad > tap + at top > tap paperclip > record voice

It's called "Voice recorder". It should be in the app drawer

Its not in the app drawer. I can't believe there is no short cut to put just the voice recorder on the home screen without opening the notebook.

Press on the home screen, select "apps", and then slect "voice recorder"

Thanks. But when I do that, there is no choice for "voice recorder" But I figured out how to do it by the help of the boards here using Nova. Nova actions was the way to go. Again, thanks
