Voice Recordings

I used the stock voice recording application on my Epic 4G Touch this morning to record a meeting. what folder are the voice recordings defaulted to? I found an item in the "sounds" folder with a .3ga sufix. I'm guessing this is not an audio file? It was created around the same time this morning that I recorded the audio file.

If this is the audio file is there a way to get Media Player to recognize the file, i.e. chaging the suffix to .mpv?
